Obituary

Walter Lee Williamson, 56 of DeLeon, Texas passed away May 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of the family and friends whose lives he touched so deeply. He was born to Oliver and Alice Kay Sanders Williamson on August 20, 1969, in Andrews, Texas.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna; his children, Jessica, Tim & Rose, Dewey, and Dustin & Maranda; as well as Eddie and his wife Glenda, Annie Marie, Patricia, and numerous cousins and extended family members.

Walter was welcomed into heaven by his daughter, Eko; his mother, Alice Kay; his father, Oliver Edward "Bo"; his uncle Fred; and his favorite horse, Amigo.

Walter spent more than 30 years working in the oil field and driving trucks. He loved working on trucks and treasured every moment spent with family. Known as "Grandpa" to just about every kid who came around, Walter had a heart big enough for everyone. He was the kind of man you could call anytime, and no matter if he was a thousand miles away, he would find a way to be there and help.

Coming from a large, close-knit family, Walter carried on that tradition through the love, strength, and generosity he shared with those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Arrangements are entrusted with Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
