Obituary

Sarah Jane Jones Ringo was born on April 22, 1982, in Waco, Texas. She was the fourth child of Jane and Homer Jones, Jr.

Sarah graduated from China Spring High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Texas Tech University, her Texas Teacher Certification through Central Texas College (CTC), and a Master of Science in Education from Lamar University.

Sarah taught for ten years before meeting Travis Ringo. The two married and purchased their home in San Saba in 2012, where Sarah continued her teaching career with San Saba ISD and began building a family. Together, they were blessed with two wonderful sons, Ryder Dale (12) and Carter Dane (8), who were the pride and joy of her life.

Sarah was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and her sister, Jill Maree.

She is survived by her loving husband, Travis Ringo, and their two sons, Ryder and Carter; her parents, Jane and Homer Jones, of Lubbock and San Saba; her two brothers, Gabe Jones of Fort Worth and Caleb Jones of Waco; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, numerous in-laws, and countless friends and former students whose lives she touched.

A Celebration of the Life of Sarah Jane Ringo will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2026, at Second and Wallace Church of Christ in San Saba, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will take place at 1:00 p.m. that afternoon in the Community Hall on the west side of the church building.
