Rocky Lee Higginbotham

Rocky Higginbotham age 61, of San Saba, Texas passed away on October 16, 2020 surrounded by his family in San Saba, Texas.  Rocky was born on July 4, 1959 in San Saba, Texas to Bobby Ray Higginbotham and Marjorie (Zucha).  Rocky was a graduate of San Saba High School in 1977.  He left and worked offshore as a crane operator, at Load Craft, Kohler, TYC and he later retired from The State of Texas Prison System (TDCJ).  Rocky loved to drive fast, hot rodding, playing golf, wood working, and being outdoors. He also liked driving around with his favorite furry companion Sasha.  Rocky was always smiling and he never met a stranger.  He loved his family, being a father, and Paw Paw.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his special friend and companion Sarah Saldivar; three sons; Brandon and wife Laura; Chase Higginbotham, Josh Higginbotham, Misty Saldivar, Winston Saldivar, and Yesenia Saldivar; two grandchildren; William and Annie; one brother Gary Higginbotham; Darrel and Fay Lusty; two nephews Rusty Higginbotham and Kris Higginbotham ; great nieces ,nephews and numerous cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2020 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home.  A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Wallace Creek Cemetery with Brother Sam Crosby officiating. In Lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to a charity of choice.
