Obituary

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Patricia Lu O'Neill Kimball, who left us on January 25, 2026. Surrounded by the love of her family, Patricia's gentle spirit and unwavering kindness touched all who knew her. Born on October 5, 1936, in Fort Worth, Texas, Patricia was the cherished daughter of Owen A. O'Neill and Frances O'Neill, both of whom preceded her in death. From an early age, she radiated warmth and compassion, qualities that would define her life.

Patricia attended Paschal High School and Texas Christian University, where she formed lifelong friendships and nurtured her love for learning. She found joy in cross-stitching angels, creating beautiful works of art that graced the homes of loved ones. Her baking was legendary, her coffee cakes and pound cakes, shared generously with friends and family, became treasured traditions, especially during the holidays.

Patricia's greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her son, Joseph R. Kimball Il, and his wife Wendy of Fort Worth; her daughter, Kathy Kimball Davis, and her husband Travis of Brownwood; grandchildren Jeff Davis and wife Morgan of Brownwood, Savannah Kimball of Weatherford, Reed Kimball and Carden Kimball of Fort Worth; and great-grandson Layton Davis of Brownwood. Each held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent together.

Her legacy lives on in her beloved grandchildren and great-grandson, whose laughter and accomplishments filled her life with pride and happiness. Patricia's love and guidance will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

Honoring Patricia's wishes, she will be cremated, and a private ceremony will be held at a later date to celebrate her life and legacy.

Patricia will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, a gentle light that continues to shine.

Arrangements are entrusted with Blaylock Funeral Home, Brownwood.
