Patricia A. Griggs

Patricia Anne Hauck Griggs, also known as Trish Anne, Nana, or Pink Nana age 85, of San Saba passed away surrounded by her family on November 1, 2021 at San Saba Nursing and Rehabilitation in San Saba, Texas.  Patricia was born January 20, 1936, in Monroe, Louisiana, and passed on November 1, 2021. She was the only child of Elizabeth (Malouf) and Samuel Hauck.  On June 17, 1954, Patricia married John Hardy Griggs. They had three daughters. When her daughters were young, she sewed all their clothes. Later, she began sewing beautiful quilts.  Patricia loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas. She spent numerous hours tending to her hen and chicken plants and her aloe vera plants. She would share her plants with everyone.  John and Patricia started a jewelry business that became a big success and eventually retired. After retirement, they both enjoyed going to their grandchildren's events. Together, they started a church in San Saba.  Nana enjoyed spending time with her friends at Shared Blessings, a local resale shop. She loved buying flamboyant clothing for herself and her great granddaughters. Pink Nana loved to hand out candy and trinkets on Halloween to the hundreds of trick or treaters who visited their home.
Patricia is survived by her three daughters, Venus and her husband Cliff, Teresa, and Cathi and her husband Mike. She had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
