Mary Cabrera

Mary Isabell Cabrera, age 75, of San Saba, Texas passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, February 9th.  A Rosary will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Blaylock Funeral Home, a visitation will follow from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2025 at San Saba's First Baptist Church and will be officiated by Pastor Tony Morin and Pastor Richard Morin. An interment will follow at San Saba City Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home in San Saba.

The first child of sixteen born to Santana & Rufina (Morales)Morin in Waco, Texas. She married Enemencio Cabrera (Mencho) in Brownfield, Tx and together they had nine children. Mary was an excellent caregiver. She worked as a CNA for over 20 years. Everyone that worked with her loved her, especially the residents. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing bingo, sewing, and crafting. She also had an amazing green thumb and was a great cook. Spending time with her children and being the best Nanny to her grandchildren meant the world to her.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Elena Cabrera and husband Tom Casarez of Blanket, TX, Margie Jimenez and husband Fabian of Andrews, TX, Rachel Zimmer of Muskegon, MI, Adela Cabrera of San Saba, TX, and Christina Balencia and husband Henry of Goldthwaite, TX. Her beloved sons Enemencio Jr. Cabrera and wife Alma Patricia of Brownfield, TX, and Jacob Cabrera and his partner George Deleon of San Antonio, TX.

Those being left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren Laura Jimenez, Julia Jimenez, Celia Jimenez, Marcus Cabrera, Danielle Kinsey, Fredrick Michael Zimmer, Gabriel Zimmer, Ariana Dominique Cabrera, Ruben Cabrera, Mary Isabell Cabrera, Alma Cabrera Amaya Balencia, Mykayla Balencia, and Luke Balencia.

Her great grandchildren Abigail Arguellez, Devin Arguellez, Zoe Arguellez, Alexandra Jimenez, Hailey Pena, Alonzo Fernandez, Nathanial Munoz, Kayleigh Cabrera, Alayna Cabrera, Faylinn Cabrera, Hannah Sears, Castiel Cabrera, Charlotte Kinsey, Isabell Zimmer, Emilia Zimmer, Lylah Zimmer, Rosalie Cabrera, Nellie Ann Cabrera, Josiah Santana Cabrera, and her great great grandchild Liam Haynes.

She is also survived by her siblings Adam Morin and wife Maria, Steve Morin and wife Audrey. Daniel Morin and wife Yolanda. David Morin, Tony Morin and wife Yolanda, Richard Morin and wife Elizabeth, Lionel Morin, Slyvia Gracian and husband Lionso, Rebecca Sanchez and husband Ricardo, Sophia Lozano, Lydia Sanchez and husband Homer, and Enedina Morin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Husband Mencho, infant son Gerard, son Ruben Cabrera, parents Santana & Rufina Morin, brothers Samuel and Eufracio Morin, and her infant grandson Kristopher Rauer.
