Linda Louise Simpson, the epitome of a true Texas lady, passed away on July 19, 2025, in San Saba, Texas. She was born on August 14, 1946.

Linda had an unmistakable Texas accent and a spirit as bold as the Lone Star State itself. She never hesitated to speak her mind—whether you asked or not—and was fiercely loyal to those she loved. A natural protector, a fighter when needed, and a gentle soul when comfort was called for, Linda lived a full and colorful life.

She had the rare gift of storytelling, able to paint vivid pictures with her words. Though small in stature, she was mighty in presence—most certainly someone you'd want in your corner.
