Linda Denell Flowers Rush, 84, of Bangs, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

Linda was born on March 22, 1942, in Brownwood, Texas, to John and Leola Wells Flowers. Linda was a loving mother, mother-in-law, Memaw, Nana, aunt, and dear friend. She raised three boys and was blessed with eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She dedicated many years of service to her community, working as a bus driver for Bangs ISD and with the Bangs Housing Authority. She took pride in her work and the relationships she built along the way.

She is survived by her three sons: Victor Rush and wife Monica; Wesley Rush and partner Carol Reagan; and Preston Rush and wife Stephanie. Her grandchildren include Jodie Lawrence and husband Jerry; Randi Rush; Nikki Lusk and husband Jared; Colton Roberts and partner Cheyanne White; Austin Rush and wife Cherokee; Katie Rush and partner Brad Fann; Kristi Rush and partner Evan Kiiskila; Caleb Blisard; Cheyenne Rush; and Shelby Reagan. Her great-grandchildren include Danielle Stewart and husband Cole; Wayne Lawrence; Jaxson Rush; Natalie Rush; Madison Lusk; Cash Rush; Paisley Rush; Logan Stansberry; Braxton Eaton; and Jace Eaton, with one great-great-grandson on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Bonnie Armstrong Dury; her brother, Melvin Flowers; her grandson, Johnathan Rush; and her nephew, Phil Armstrong.

Linda was a loving mother, mother-in-law, Memaw, Nana, aunt, and dear friend.

Linda was adored by her children and grandchildren and would do anything for them. She was one of the sweetest people you could ever meet. Her kindness, strength, and love touched so many lives, and her family could share stories for hours about all she did for them.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved-our momma.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Blaylock Funeral Home. A funeral service for Linda will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 11:00 am at Blaylock Funeral Home , Brownwood, the interment will follow at Bangs Cemetery.
