Linda was born on April 27, 1948, to Rollie White "Fat" Parker and Billie Louise (Hannum) Parker in San Angelo. She was raised and went to school in Ozona. In 1959, her family moved to central Texas and she graduated from Brady High School in 1966. As a kid, Linda enjoyed playing basketball, riding horses, and spending time with her friends.
