Leola Hamrick

Leola Mae Hamrick, 95, of San Saba, Texas, joined her Lord and Savior in Heaven on June 10, 2025. A private service for Leola will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home in San Saba.

Leola was born to Berdine Barefoot and Nettie Mae Lusty on May 12, 1930 in Lometa, Texas where she grew up and attended high school. She married Henry T. Hamrick on November 26, 1950 and together they lived all over the United States while he was in the US Air Force and working for Shell Oil Company; they had three children Al, Connie and Patti Hamrick. She enjoyed quilting, and volunteer work such as meals on wheels. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Leola leaves behind a loving family who cherished the time that was spent with her. She is survived by her children Al Hamrick and wife Lolli of San Saba, and Patti Merlo and husband Mike of San Saba, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandbaby, and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and 1 daughter Connie Hamrick.
