With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Joseph "Joe" Lee Wilson, Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who passed away on February 11, 2025, in Irvine, CA, at the age of 74.
Joe dedicated his career to ensuring the safe startup of energy plants, serving as a respected Plant Manager. Beyond his professional achievements, he was known for his sharp sense of humor, passion for airplanes—especially WWII aircraft—and his generous and compassionate spirit.
Joe leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and inspiration. He is survived by his beloved wife, Colleen Wilson; his children, Sean and Amy Greenroyd, and Ryan Redman; and his cherished grandchildren, Angelika Greenroyd, Odin Greenroyd, and Emerson Greenroyd. He is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
Rest in peace, Joe. You will forever be in our hearts.

A Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Blaylock Funeral Home in Brownwood with Lloyd Moore Officiating. The Interment will be at Wolfe Valley Cemetery in May, Texas directly after the service.
