Gwendolyn Joan Smith, age 65, of San Saba Texas stepped over into her heavenly home on Monday, Monday, April 25, 2022 in Temple Texas, after a long battle with cancer. A private memorial will be held for close friends and family at a later date.
Gwendolyn Joan Smith was born on January 1, 1957 in San Saba, TX the daughter of Rev. Melvin Lester Williams and Ora Lean Francis (Roberts) Williams. She played piano and the accordian. Her family was very important to her and she loved her dogs and cats. She was a member of the San Saba Assembly of God Church, she is rejoicing with God right now.
She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Smith, her father Rev. Melvin Lester Willams, her mother Ora Lean Francis Williams, 3 brothers Donnie Ray Williams, Lester Eugene (Gene)Williams and Michiel Ray Williams, and one Niece Gina Hartman.
She is survived by 1 son, Marshall Sutton of San Saba, 1 sister-in-law, Sandra (Williams) Newby and husband C A of San Saba, 3 nieces Patricia Williams of San Saba, Sonja Lynn Pafford and husband of Tennessee, Mindy Kraft and her husband Wymond of Dallas, 2 nephews Melvin Williams and his wife RoseMary of Cherokee, Michial Williams of Hondo, 18 Great Nieces and Nephews, Mysti Roberts and her husband Duncan, Ashley Belle Gray, Gene Kyle Gray, Amber Norton and her husband Joey, Robbie Hartman , Jared Anson, Tristen, Tyler, Xander, Aurelius and Cornelius Pafford, Brenden, Breana, Dylan and McKenzie Kraft, Easton, Thad and Keelee Roberts, Pheonix and Lexi Norton
4 great great nieces and nephews and numerous other family members.
Donations to help the family can be paid to Blaylock Funeral Home. The family Thanks you for any help big or small. We will be grateful and rejoice in the Lord as we have been taught. Thank you and God bless!! She will be dearly missed and we will hold her memories dear
