Frances Prewitt
Frances Prewitt, age 76, of Hamilton passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020, at Hamilton Healthcare Center.
Graveside Services for Frances will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2020, at San Saba City Cemetery with Pastor Samantha Chambers officiating; visitation will be held prior to services from 1 to 3 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba.
Frances was born to Edwin and Laura (Arthur) Hunter on November 27, 1943, in Bay City, Texas. She was a member of First United Methodist of Hamilton. Frances had a giving heart, she loved to give to the needy especially during the holiday seasons. She was very gifted and had many talents including: crocheting, sewing, knitting, quilting, and painting, which she enjoyed doing her free time.
Frances is survived by her children, James Prewitt and wife Shelly, Johnny Lee Prewitt, Rose Villarreal and Larry Rambo, and Margaret Prewitt; 4 grandchildren, Kenneth Prewitt, Cameron Prewitt, Jessica Marie Lane, and Melissa Prewitt Jones; 5 great-grandchildren, John Henry Lane, John Curtis Lane, Savanna Rain Lane, Donald Keith Van III, and Shawn Jones; 1 sister, Laverne Martinez; and 1 brother, Ronnie Hunter. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Prewitt; 2 brothers, Sonny Hunter and Lawrence E. Hunter; 1 sister, Doris Ann Tillerson; and her parents, Edwin and Laura Hunter.
