Elizabeth Ann Stewardson Barker passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 at her home peacefully surrounded by her family.  She was born on October 19, 1928 in  Shields in Coleman, County to Hardy Ellis Stewardson and Birdie (Barton).  Elizabeth married Marlis Ceburn Barker in San Saba, Texas on October 4, 1952.  They were members of San Saba's First Baptist Church.  She enjoyed going out to eat and having coffee with friends several times a week.  She worked as a secretary and receptionist early in life.  Elizabeth welcomed family visits any time to her very well kept home.  She enjoyed working and keeping a beautiful yard and flower beds.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son Bruce Barker and wife Teri of Big Horn WY, sister Francis Skiles of Weatherford, Texas and son in law Tom Burson of Silverton, Texas; grandson Donny Burson and wife Brooke; two granddaughters Morgan Stalick and Brook Johnson both from Wyoming; three great grandsons Finn, Marlis, and Jhett; one great granddaughter Acey and another great grandson on the way.  She was preceded by her parents, husband Marlis and daughter Debra Burson; two brothers J.L. and Boyd Stewardson
