Cynthia L. Brister

Cynthia L. Brister, age 59, of San Saba, Texas passed away surrounded by her family on October 19, 2021, in San Saba, Texas.   Cynthia was born in San Antonio, Texas on July 3, 1962, to Samuel R. Granberry and Shirley C. Carroll.  She attended John Marshall High School in San Antonio and was a member of the band.  Cynthia married the love of her life on October 28, 1982, Steve Brister. Cynthia worked for Citi Group in San Antonio.  She loved animals, gardening, and being outdoors.  Cynthia loved her family and spending time with them.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 38 years, Steve Brister; children: Alyssa Rae Brister of San Saba, Texas and Mariah Catherine Dufalt of Paducah, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Avery Skye Dufalt; one sister, Creasa Ethridge of Hondo, Texas; parents, Sam and Shirley Granberry.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents and one brother, Kurt L. Granberry.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel in San Saba with Barry Fikes officiating.  A private interment will be held at a later date.  Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba in charge of arrangements.
