She married her soulmate, Johnny Lee Curry Sr., on August 20, 1960; the two just celebrated 59 years of marriage. They had three children: Johnny Jr., Terrie, and Pamela, all of whom reside in Bangs, Texas. She loved her family, friends, and pets dearly. She loved to plan parties, including a giant yearly Easter egg hunt where everyone was welcome. She was a loving wife, mother, and Nana, who will be missed.
Byrlene was preceded in death by her parents, Beryl and Oleta Drury of Bangs; grandparents, Charles and Ruby (Tervooren) Drury, and Robert and Gertrude Brinson.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Sr.; her children, Johnny Lee Curry Jr. and his wife Lou Ann, Terrie Hailey, Pamela Pannell and her husband Wayne; her 4 grandkids, Ginny and Jacey Pannell, Katherine and Abby Hailey, and their father, Kevin Hailey and wife Kim; and one brother, Larry Drury and his wife Celia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and other relatives.
Her quick wit, infectious laugh, and smile will be missed greatly by all.
