Betty June (Burr) Sellars

Loving mother, grandmother, and sister Betty June (Burr) Sellars, age 74, of Brownwood peacefully passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at a local nursing facility.

A Family Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Betty June was born on November 1, 1946, to Charles Burr and Geraldine (Rogers) Burr Burris in Mars, Pennsylvania. She was a longtime resident of Brownwood. She loved crafting. June was a resilient woman, as she was a breast cancer survivor.

June is survived by her 3 children, Robby Sellars of Early, Harry Sellars of Early, Heidi Sellars McClain and husband Britt of Zephyr; 4 grandchildren, Hailey and Hope Sellars, Cutter and Rowdy McClain; and 3 brothers, Allan Burris of Austin, Timmy Burris and wife Katherine of Jacksonville, TX, and Andy Burris of Goldthwaite. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Sellars; her parents, Charles and Geraldine; and 1 brother, Gerald Burris.
