Arlena was born August 4, 1941, in Brownwood, Texas.  She was a lifetime resident of Brown County.  She passed away July 4, 2025, in Brownwood, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents W. E. (Ernest) and Mae Carruth, sister Walrena "Rena" Carruth Schultz, and daughter Charla Minor.

She is survived by her brother Sidney Carruth and sister-in-law Sherry, son-in-law James Minor, grandsons Michael Minor, Christopher Minor, Jacob Minor, and great-granddaughter Kaia Luna Minor.

She was a lifetime member of the Austin Avenue church of Christ.

In Lena's early years, she worked at Woolworths in Brownwood.  In later years, she worked at the Triple T Grill then at the Brownwood ISD cafeteria.

The family will hold a memorial will be held on July 19, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Austin Avenue church of Christ. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
